In order to maintain a safe marketplace, sellers can only offer Coolorca-approved payment methods in their listings.

Our payment-related policies ensure buyers and sellers have consistent access to familiar and secure payment methods, transparent information on how to pay and what to pay for, and know what to do if something goes wrong.

Payments from a Bank Account policy

Use of a bank account as a payment method on the Coolorca.com website, Coolorca affiliate website, or third-party website is subject to these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). Use of the Coolorca.com website is also governed by our Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice. We may update these Terms by posting updates on the Coolorca.com website. By continuing to use your bank account as a payment method, you accept the updated Terms.

Authorization 

When you pay for an order using your bank account, you authorize us to debit your bank account up to the total amount of your purchase, including applicable taxes, fees, and shipping costs. You also authorize us to further debit or credit your bank account to correct any erroneous debit, make necessary adjustments to your payment, or to issue a refund back to your bank account.

Bank Account Eligibility and Verification 

Your bank account must be able to accept debits denominated in the currency of the Coolorca website you're using. You authorize us to make any inquiries or obtain any information, including a credit report or other credit checks, that we determine are necessary to verify your bank account. We may suspend, refuse, or remove your ability to make a payment using your bank account without notice for any reason at any time.

Returned Payments 

If your bank returns any payment using your bank account unpaid (for example, if you have insufficient funds available), we may retry the payment. Your bank may charge you an overdraft or other fees for each payment failure. Additionally, you authorize us to charge any other valid payment method we have on file for any amount that remains unpaid after any attempted charge. We may initiate a collection process or legal action to collect any money owed to us. You agree to pay all our costs for such action, including any reasonable attorneys' fees.

Monthly Payments Terms & Conditions

This offer only applies to eligible new products sold and supplied by Coolorca.com, and to partners with Coolorca (Sign up Seller's account), including where the “monthly payments” option is available on the product details page.

  • This offer applies to one eligible product per product category.

  • This offer is not transferable and may not be combined with other offers.

  • To be eligible for this offer, you must have a valid credit card associated with your Coolorca.com account, and you must have a good payment history on Coolorca.com. This offer may not be available to every customer/partners and may not be available to you for all qualifying products. We reserve the right to consider for each transaction factors including your transaction history and past products purchased on Coolorca.com and the nature and price of the qualifying product, in determining your eligibility for this offer. We will not use a credit report to determine your eligibility.

  • Offer good while supplies last. We reserve the right to cancel this offer at any time.

  • You will be charged the full price of the qualifying product you selected in one payment.

  • You authorize us to charge payment to your preferred payment method. If the preferred method is unavailable (for example, a card has expired and cannot be charged successfully), we will use another payment method we have on record for you. You agree to maintain in your Coolorca.com account at least one valid credit card that expires no earlier than 20 days after your last payment due date

  • You can choose to prepay either your next scheduled payment or the full remaining balance of your purchase at any time.

  • If we are not able to charge any payment to a payment method on file in your Coolorca account, we reserve the right to pursue any remedy that is available to us, including the right to suspend or terminate your Coolorca account and, for Coolorca.com devices, the right to deregister your device, which will block your ability to access Coolorca.com content and services from your device. You agree that we and our affiliates have no liability related to the exercise of these remedies.

  • This offer and your purchase, including any dispute or claim relating thereto, are subject to the terms in the Coolorca.com Conditions of Use, including the binding arbitration, governing law, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability terms therein.

  • Any return of a product purchased through this offer, and the amount of any resulting refund, will be subject to our standard returns policy ( Safe Shopping policy & Buyer Protection) . The remaining balance of your purchase will be deducted from any refund.

Chilean and Colombian Credit Cards

Using a Chilean or a Colombian credit card may offer additional benefits.

When you shop in Chilean pesos (CLP) or in Colombian pesos (COP) with your credit card, you may be able to benefit from: 

- No foreign transaction fees charged by your bank; 

- Your local credit line will be utilized, versus your international credit line.

About monthly payment without interest for Chilean credit cards:

  • For eligible purchases with a Chilean credit card, you may have the option to pay in three equal monthly interest-free installments*.

  • With credit card installments, your order amount is divided into three monthly equal installments and you do not have to pay the full amount at once.

  • The first installment will be due on the billing cycle when shipment occurs.

  • If you pay for all or some of your purchase with a gift card, an installment plan cannot be used.

  • Once you select the three monthly installments option, we will share this selection with your bank and the bank will charge you in three monthly interest-free installments.

  • Credit card installment options are subject to the agreement between you and your bank. Failure to comply with payment plans for purchases made in installments may affect your credit rating. Please review the terms of use of the company that issued your card.

  • For eligible purchases with a Colombian credit card, you may have the option to pay in up to 36 months’ installments; no minimum purchase amount is required*.

  • Once you select the monthly installments option, we will share this selection with your bank and the bank will charge you monthly.

  • The interest rate to be applied will depend on the agreement between you and the bank that issued your credit card.

Note: *Not applicable on certain products, including digital products, Gift cards and Gold Coins.

Currency Converter Exchange Rates

When you Sign up for the Coolorca.com marketplace, you will receive combined accounts in a global network around the world: North America (USA, Canada and Mexico), European stores (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Spain), Japan and Australia. and all other countries.

Note: EURO is the main currency of Coolorca Store. Our website accepts payment in euros and all products on the Coolorca.com website are published in euros. But for your convenience, we use the Coolorca.com currency converter.

Coolorca.com Currency Converter allows you to pay for qualifying purchases in your local currency with an eligible American Express, MasterCard or Visa payment card, and other bank cards

When you purchase eligible items and you use an eligible American Express, Visa or MasterCard payment card denominated in currencies supported by the Coolorca.com Currency Converter, you may be able to pay in your local currency. We'll show you the total amount of your order in your local currency on the order summary page.

When you purchase using Coolorca.com Currency Converter:

  • We’ll automatically display your order total in your local currency on the order summary page.

  • You'll always have the option to pay either in your local currency or in US Dollars.

  • The same exchange rate applied to your purchase will be applied in the event of a return, so you get back what you paid – even if the market exchange rate has changed.

  • The exchange rate will be displayed below your order total at the time of purchase.

  • The exchange rate applied to your order will be available in your order details, the order confirmation email notification, and the invoice summary.

Note:

  • When you use Coolorca.com Currency Converter, we'll charge your payment card in your local currency. In some cases, however, your bank or credit card company may assess additional fees, which may increase the overall cost of your purchase. Please contact with your bank regarding these fees.

  • Your local currency refers to the card currency associated with your eligible payment method. You can change your card currency by updating your payment method during checkout.

  • If you paid for your order in the marketplace currency, your refund will be issued in marketplace currency and your bank may apply a conversion rate to the currency of your card.

The exchange rate includes all Coolorca.com fees and charges related to the use of Coolorca.com Currency Converter.

The exchange rate displayed at checkout may not match the figures published online or in other financial databases. Those exchange rates are generally inter-bank rates that are for wholesale amounts and aren't available to retail customers. Coolorca.com consistently works to negotiate competitive foreign exchange rates with our bank service provider. These rates are updated daily.

If you change an order, the Coolorca.com Currency Converter recalculates eligibility based on your changes. If these changes make your order ineligible for the Coolorca.com Currency Converter, your order total must be paid in the local currency.

When you purchase eligible items from Coolorca.com using an eligible American Express, MasterCard, or Visa credit or debit card denominated in currencies supported by the Coolorca.com Currency Converter, you may be able to pay in your local currency.

To switch between your local currency and the default website currency:

Select the items you'd like to purchase and proceed to checkout.

On the final checkout page, before paying for your order, choose the payment currency you'd like to use for your order.

Once you select the currency of your card, the Coolorca.com Currency Converter automatically displays your payment total in your local currency on the order summary page, or the product detail page for 1-Click ordering, so you know how much you're paying before you pay.

Note:

The Coolorca Currency Converter uses information, such as the country or region your card was issued in, to determine your local currency.

If the wrong currency type is identified, choose your preferred currency as your selected payment currency during checkout.

You can also change the currency of your card on the payment selection page by selecting My card is a different currency, and selecting the currency type.

We store the currency you selected for your card for future eligible purchases.

View the Exchange Rate Used for an Order.

You can view the applicable exchange rate used to determine the payment total in your local currency while placing your order.

To view the exchange rate:

  1. Choose the items you'd like to purchase and select Proceed to checkout.

  2. See the Applicable Exchange Rate on the final checkout page before paying for your order.

Note:

  • Your bank may charge you a fee. For details of these fees, contact your bank.

  • Though the exchange rate won't be visible after you place an order, you can view your order total in the Order Summary section of Your Orders. For orders placed in your local currency, you'll also see the order total displayed in your local currency.

Shopping Cart Prices

Items in your Shopping Cart always reflects the most recent price displayed on the product detail page of the item.

This price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart doesn't reserve the price shown at that time. The price of an item may increase or decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.

Note:

  • You're not charged until your order enters the shipping process.

  • If the correct price of an item is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of this cancelation. This applies only to products sold and shipped by Coolorca.com. Sellers may follow different policies in the event of a mispriced item.

Pre-order Price Guarantee applies to not-yet-released qualifying items.

Coolorca.com price for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and/or shipped.

  • For Physical Items:

Whenever your pre-order a physical item displaying the “Pre-order Price Guarantee” message on the product detail page, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the lowest price offered by Coolorca.com between the time you place your order and the end of the day of the release date.

  • For Digital Games & Software Downloads, Domain names, SSL certificates:

Whenever your pre-order digital content, the price we charge you will be the lowest price offered by Coolorca.com between the time you place your order and the time the content is released.

Note:

  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to items sold by Coolorca.com, and, other than certain digital music albums, not to items (or prices) offered by other sellers on our site. The Pre-order Price Guarantee does not apply to any products purchased at Coolorca.com ’s other sites.

  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to not-yet-released qualifying items. It does not apply to other product lines or to items that have already been released.

  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to qualifying items displaying the offer message on their product detail pages. Items that do not display the offer message do not qualify, regardless of the nature of the items.

  • The Pre-order Price Guarantee does not apply to lower prices offered through any program that requires a customer to join the program to receive the lower price.

  • If your order enters the shipping process before the release date, and the price is lowered before the end of the day of the release date, we'll automatically refund your credit or debit card for the difference between the price you were charged and the release-date price within 48 hours. If the price changes before the item ships, you'll see the updated price in Your Account within 24-48 hours of the price change. If you did not use a credit or debit card to pay for your order, please Contact Us.

 

Strike-Through Pricing and Savings

Items on Coolorca may display a List Price, Was Price, or other strike-through pricing or saving information on the product detail page.

The List Price is the suggested retail price of a product as provided by a manufacturer, supplier, or seller. Coolorca will only display a List Price if the product was purchased by customers on Coolorca or offered by other retailers at or above the List Price in the past 90 days except for books. List prices may not necessarily reflect the prevailing market price of a product.

The Was Price is determined using the 90-day median price paid by customers for the product on Coolorca. We exclude prices paid by customers for the product during a limited time deal. For Coolorca Fresh offers the Was Price is calculated as the median price offered locally for at least 28 days of the last 90 days.

You may see additional strike-through pricing and savings information:

  • Based on savings from the “List” or "Was" price, items may also have a You Save dollar value and percentage-off display.

  • Lowest Price in 30 Days or Best Price in 30 Days means that the current price is lower than, or equal to, the lowest featured offer price for this item sold on Coolorca in the past 30 days.

To report a strike-through price issue, click on Report incorrect product information on the product detail page and select Other product details, and then select Price issue. Use the Comments section to include all details you consider relevant.

Note: Coolorca can't respond personally when you report a price issue, but you may see an onscreen confirmation message after submitting the form.

Multi-Factor Authentication for International Bank Cards

All local Korean credit cards require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when used for the first time on Coolorca. If you're using your Korean credit card for the first time on Coolorca, we direct you to an identity and carrier verification form. The information you input on this form allows the card issuer to authenticate the card and the user. There is no additional charge for this authenticate process. The identity and carrier verification form appears after selecting "Place Your Order" on the order summary page.

To authenticate your credit card, you'll need the following information:

- Your Date of Birth;

- The first two digits of your four-digit credit card password (not the expiration date or CVV/CVN);

- Your mobile phone number;

- Your business registration number (for corporate owned cards with the corporation name as the cardholder).

After you complete the authentication process, we redirect you back to Coolorca. You only need to complete the multi-factor authentication process once per credit card.

Note: 

-You'll need to know whether a person or corporate entity owns the card. If a corporate entity owns the card, check the BRN checkbox on the carrier verification page.

- If you have lost or forgotten your four-digit credit card password, contact the issuer of the card.

You as a registered user have access to your individual User Account. Please keep your login and password safe and never share them with anyone. Our team do not set up or store your password. If you need to reset your password, you can contact us and follow the instructions.

Keep your login details safe. We are not liable for unauthorized purchases made under your account. All activity on your account will be attributed to you and you will be responsible for all purchases made on your account.
In your User Account you can add several payment cards. When adding a card, you will be asked for the card number, expiry date and security code. When paying by card you may be asked to confirm the card details. If your bank offers any security checks, such as security confirmation codes or digital signature – please follow your bank instructions.

When you pay with a credit card, your transaction is protected by our encryption technology and firewall and is completely secure. When you pay with a debit card, you will be redirected to your bank’s secure website to complete the transaction.

Remember, that our team will never phone or email you asking for your card details or PIN number. In exceptional cases of a dispute, we may contact you asking to provide a copy of your national ID, in order to confirm your identity.

You can add a PayPal account as a payment option. When you use PayPal, after submitting an order, you will be redirected to PayPal to complete the transaction. Follow on-screen instructions. You cannot split payment across multiple payment cards or PayPal accounts. 

You can add or update as many payment options as you like.

To take advantage of Buyer Protection, we require, among other things, that your account is in good standing and ask that a dispute be filed within 30 days of your purchase or payment, Terms and Conditions apply.
In order to provide you with a pleasant shopping experience, Coolorca Marketplace can collect and store some of your personal information. This is the information you give us, automatically or manually, such as your internet browser and login device information, user account information. We don't accept the following payment methods:

  • Checks or postal orders;

  • Cash in any currency;

  • Book tokens;

  • Purchase orders;

  • International wire transfers;

  • Direct debits or standing orders;

  • Bank transfers;

  • Pay Monthly;

  • EBT Cash benefits.
